Welcome to Ashtanga School!
My larger vision has always been more of a hybrid-style of teaching Ashtanga - not linked to a lineage or dogma. I've taught yoga for over a decade, I've been doing yoga for two decades, and now I want to offer what I feel is best for each individual person in front of me.
What does this mean, and what does it look like?
In Ashtanga School, we use Primary Series as a framework and intuitively move from there. You may see practitioners in the room modifying the series, doing more restorative practices, or fully extracting postures from the series that don't work within their body. My intention is to create a safe space, without judgment, to move and breathe. Your practice may be more intense somedays, more therapeutic others. This will be truly individual teaching, we will work together to create the practice just right for you.
What days do we practice?
Mondays, 6:30 - 8:30am
Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:30am
Fridays, 7:00 - 9:00am
Sundays, Open Studio Practice 7:00 - 9:00am
Starting in December, we will host a Led Ashtanga class or a conference/clinic on one Sunday. This will be communicated to Ashtanga School members accordingly.
Please reach out with any questions. I would love to chat and see if Ashtanga School is a good fit for you!
